On this show, Adam is joined by the one and only Randy Newberg. Adam sat down with Randy at Mystery Ranch HQ on his recent trip to Bozeman.

A down to earth, dyed in the wool DIY western hunter, Randy has been at the vanguard of the hunting media business since he made the leap into producing and distributing his own content many years ago.

There have never been more questions surrounding the future of the media business and Adam and Randy spend most of the episode exploring precisely this topic.

If you’re wondering what the future holds for hunting shows, films, podcasts, and written content, you will want to hear Randy’s thoughts on the future of how hunting content will be produced, shared and consumed.

***WARNING: SOME EXPLICIT LANGUAGE IS USED IN THIS SHOW***

On this show, Adam is joined by the President & CEO of the Wild Sheep Foundation, Gray Thornton.

Adam and Gray spend the bulk of this episode covering two critically important subjects: the importance of high-value auction tags and the ever evolving wild-domestic disease transfer issue.

If you hold strong opinions about auction tags or want to know more about how they impact both wild sheep conservation AND sheep hunting opportunities, then you need to tune in to this episode.

In the second half of the show, Gray brings us to speed on the latest news on the wild-domestic disease front. After numerous attempts at collaborating with the various stakeholders involved, WSF has had enough. The gloves are coming off.

On this show, Adam is joined by Steven Drake to recap his recent trip to the islands of Haida Gwaii to chase Sitka blacktails. This was not your average blacktail hunt!

Drake, Connor Gabbott, and one of Connor’s good friends took advantage of the unique hunting opportunities on this remote archipelago, and put together one of the best surf and turf hunting trips we’ve ever seen or heard of. This was a true sea to summit adventure.

From alpine bow stalks to bear encounters, and beach deer to crab pots, this trip had it all. Tune in for the full details and trip report!

On this episode, Adam is joined by Greg McHale. Greg is the host of Greg McHale’s Wild Yukon, an incredibly well produced show that just debuted on the Sportsman Channel.

He is also a past guest (Episode 35) so, if you haven’t listened to Greg’s original interview, it would be a good idea to check it out, as the subjects discussed on this show, are essentially an extension of his first interview.

Greg is a former guide, retired professional athlete, avid bush pilot, and now a TV producer. Needless to say, he’s led one hell of an interesting life that has been heavily influenced by the Wild Yukon that he calls home.
