***EXPLICIT LANGUAGE USED FREQUENTLY. NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN***

We haven’t featured a ton of elk material on the podcast, or in the JOMH for that matter, but this year that’s changing in a big way.

This is the first in what will be a series of podcasts focused on elk hunting and the shenanigans that accompanies a group of guys preparing for an elk hunt, and trying to fill their freezers with some of the best wild meat on the planet.

Oh, and we’re making a film about it too.

On this show, you’ll hear Adam and a crew of buddies talking about their elk hunting plans for the fall…along with some good old fashioned BS-ing and sh!t talking.

This is the second part of Adam’s conversation with Tim Lesser of Leupold, recorded on location at Leupold HQ in Oregon. In this episode, they discuss binos and rangefinders.

If you’ve ever wondered how to choose wisely with either of these product categories, this episode will open your eyes—pun intended—to the details that matter to you and your hunting style.

Topics covered include lenses, prisms, diopter adjustments, glare reduction, laser sensitivity and accuracy, ballistic computations, how to sight-in your rangefinder…and a whole lot more.

On this show, Adam shares a recent bowhunting experience that resulted in another cut bear tag cut. Although there’s plenty of bear hunting to be had in the fall here in BC, Adam won’t be hunting bears again in 2019.
